Good Evening,

My husband and I have just returned from a road trip to Queensland to escape the Canberra winter. By far one of the highlights of our trip was on the return journey when we stopped over at Coffs Harbour and visited the Pet Porpoise Pool (PPP).

What an absolute delight. We were blown away by the 'interactiveness' of your tourist attraction. We loved playing catch - not fetch...! - with the dolphins in the big tank and being kissed by both the seals and dolphins was fantastic.

The staff at the PPP were knowledgeable and hats off to you for your special volunteer dolphin trainers - their enthusiasm bought a tear to my eye. We loved the show and could have stayed and watched another in the afternoon but alas the road home called.

Keep up the good work and most importantly keep enjoying what you and your staff do.

Hi, On behalf of my family we would like to express our thanks for an absolutely fantastic morning at the Pet Porpoise Pool. It was a rainy day 9/01/10 but you wouldn't have known it. The kids, my husband and I had an amazing time.
My husband and I dive and love ocean creatures but never expected such an up close and fantastic experience that we could share with our two children. We watched all the shows and feeding encounters in wonder. We were blown away and you offer fantastic value for money.  Your staff are brilliant. Very happy to communicate and interact with everyone visiting. I thanked a few of them on the day for a job well done. Thanks Again for a Great Day! We can't wait to visit again.

Dear Manager,

I just wanted to write and congratulate you on a wonderful centre you are and your staff operate in Coffs Harbour.  My family and I attended on the weekend and I just can't tell you in words how impressed we were.

The interactive opportunity we had with the dolphins after the show was beyond anything I have experienced before.  It is credit to your business and the town and hope it never goes away, as has happened in so many other townships (such as Port Macquarie).

Playing ball with the dolphins was something I will never forget and one of the highlights.  We were absolutely delighted to be allowed to have this interaction.  There are not many organisation left in these times that do allow such a thing (e.g. Larger Parks they disappear behind the fence and that is the last you see of them).

I would make the trip up again from Sydney, just to experience that again and will be sure to tell as many people as possible that Coffs is the place to go.  I hope that being in a smaller town, you never have to close and always receive support. 

By the way I had been planning to fly to WA (Rockingham) just to swim with dolphins, but think I will make another trip to Coffs in the future for the experience you offer.  Please always let the public have that play time after the show.  It was amazing.

April 2008 - Maree wrote- " It truly was magical for all"

Dear Manager,
I'm sorry that I don't know your name, but I just wanted to say personally "thank you" so much for our wonderful adventure and experience.

My family "The Normans" - Gloria, Annette, Rearn, Lauree, Stuart and myself, Maree - visited and swam with your dolphins/seals on the 1st March 2008 and truly, it was worth every bit of it.

The trip was organised for mother, who turns "80" in June and was going into hospital on the 5th March to have her hip replaced - so something positive for her to have in her memory bank with a few gruelling weeks coming up - and my nephew who was turning "21" in March and due to the surgery we were going to miss the celebrations - so I thought, as a birthday gift, what better way than to spend the time with his grandmother and swim with dolphins, his sisters and my best friend of 45 years also joined us, so we had quite a group. And it truly was magical for all, as you will see by our photos - we still razz my nephew that it was probably the best kiss he has ever had.

The trainers/staff where so obliging at all times and nothing was a problem and the care that all your animals receive makes me want to turn into a dolphin.

My mother now six weeks on has made a full recovery and my nephew I believe, has finally stopped celebrating his 21st!

So finally, again thank you it was a magical weekend for us all.

My friend, her son and I recently visited your park, and I wanted to say thank you to your staff for a wonderful day. The shows are fantastically interactive, and it is so very obvious that the animals are loved dearly. We originally thought we would only be there for an hour or so, but we ended up staying there for about 5 hours, which enabled us to interact with the seals and dolphins more than a lot of other patrons. You should be so very proud of what you have there, and more marine parks should be as good as yours. Thankyou again for the opportunities we experienced. It was the best $27 I have ever paid. I will definitely visit again when I am there.

I just wanted to let you know that my girlfriend and I swam with the dolphins today and it was an absolutely unique experience. It is a shame that you do not have a feedback page on your website that we could share this with others that visit the site. The staff are very friendly and well knowledged about these wonderful creatures and it it obvious that they are very passionate about the animals. We had the pleasure of getting to know Clamity and she is a very gentle and beautiful girl. The highlight for me was getting a kiss and a cuddle from Maxine and she made me feel so happy and gave me plenty of laughs with her cheeky personality. It is a credit to you all what you do there and I wish you continued success. I will tell everyone I know that they should go, and truly be 'touched by magic'. Please pass on my gratitude to your team.

January 2008 - Melinda and Natasha wrote- "The experience of a lifetime"

Here is some pics of our day at the Pet Porpoise Pool in Coffs Harbour.  It has always been a dream of my goddaughter and daughter to get up close with a dolphin and unfortunately you were booked out with the dolphin swims, however we still came to the pool and she still got the experience of a lifetime.  Not only could you interact with the animals but the show was entertaining, the staff friendly and informative and all in all it was a great day out, not just for the kids but for myself and my best friend as well.

I also appreciated the fact that the park was clean and the animals were well cared for and lots of consideration in not stressing or tiring them out.  You also picked my daughter to brush the dolphins teeth out of the audience so it made the day even more special.

Keep up the good work and we look forward to coming back for a visit when we can (this time trying to book in earlier for the swim!!).

Thank you for sending the photos they are terrific. I really appreciate the feedback I get from our visitors.  I am sorry that our dolphin encounters were booked out, I would not have predicted that we would sell out so early.  If you are coming back one day, I would recommend that you give us a call at least 3 months (we only take bookings 3 months out) before your visit to ensure a place. We get lots of positive feedback from the swims - I know you will enjoy it.

We live in Kempsey, we had a chance to visit your show Tuesday 13th Nov, and we didn't leave the questionaire, we wanted you to know what a wonderful time we had, we are both in our sixties, and have travelled the world, your show was the best we have seen, and we both feel we were touched by magic, and have the photographs to prove it. All the staff are very friendly, helpful, and very professional.

We will be bringing our grandchildren to visit over the xmas holidays, and we are looking forward to seeing the show again.

As we have a young family, ages 7 & 4, we decided on a recent holiday whilst staying at Nambucca Heads, to visit the Pet Porpoise Pool. What a fabulous experience! It well and truly exceeded my expectations, so you can only imagine just how wonderful the experience was for the kids, they still talk about it on a daily basis!

Our website is due to be published this week, on it are some pictures we took of the kids with Buccy, Zippy and crew, as we feel that your facility is truly worth promoting. Would you be interested if we had a link on our links page so as to be able to direct prospective customers to your website?

I visited September last year and I just loved it, we had a great day out and you have a fantastic facility. I took this photo of Merlin during his performance and I think it captures him in his moment to shine quite nicely.

6/1/07 - A note from Rebecca and Catelyn -
Just a quick hello and a big thankyou to all the staff and animals at the Pet Porpoise Pool. I took my daughter to see the show while on holidays in Sawtell on the 6/1/07 , it was the highlight of her holiday and the photographs were absolutely beautiful and we will definitely be back another time to catch up with Bucky and Zippy and all the seals.

The animals all looked in wonderful condition and obviously love their homes and their trainers very much. Well done to all the trainers and staff and especially the stars of the show. It was a delight to watch and interact with you all.

Some belated comments on our visit. Our visit to the porpoise pool in Feb 05 was the highlight of our holiday in Coffs Harbour. Being able to interact with the dolphins and seals was an amazing experience.
We especially loved spending time watching and playing with the dolphins after the show.

I visted your pet porpoise pool on the 26.11.06, I absolutely loved it and the staff were really friendly you guys are all doing a great job at the pet porpoise pool, I can see all the animals are really happy in there homes, I was in love with your dolphins they are so BEAUTIFUL!!
